Happn's premise is disarmingly romantic: it shows you the people you have physically crossed paths with during the day. Walk past someone in the metro at 8.15, and by 8.30 they might be at the top of your feed.
It works brilliantly in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia and falls apart in low-density towns. Location tracking is mandatory, which is a fair trade-off for the concept.

A charming second app to run alongside Bumble or Hinge if you live in a walkable city.
