Badoo has quietly been one of the most-used dating apps in Spain since the mid-2000s. Its strongest markets are second-tier cities — Zaragoza, Vigo, Murcia, Granada — where Bumble and Hinge are still thin.
The People Nearby feature is unmatched for spontaneous meet-ups: you can see who is online within 500 metres, which pays off on holiday or on a slow Tuesday night out.
Premium is cheap (€9.99), and photo verification is a green tick that filters most fakes. The downside is notification volume — turn most of them off on day one.
